In this simple and fun activity, students have the opportunity to learn 26 occupations while
they practice asking questions and giving answers in complete sentences.
このゲームで26の異なる職業を学ぶのは簡単で楽しいです。英語で質問し、答えながら進むこのゲームで英語力を身につけます。
- Form groups of 3-5 students.
- Deal 5 cards to each player. Place the remaining cards face-down in the middle of the table. This is called the draw pile.
- Do “Rock, Paper, Scissors” to see who goes first.
- First player asks a random player ‚“Do you_____?” or “Are you a/an______?”)The player must have this card to ask.
For example, “Do you fly planes?” or “Are you a pilot?” can only be asked if the player has at least 1 “pilot” card. - If the random player does have the requested card, they must give the card to the player who asked (first player in this case).
- If the random player does not have the requested card, they say ‚“No I don’t.” or “No, I’m not.” Then say, “Get a job!” and the first player must draw from the pile.
- When a player has 2 of the same card, s/he places the pair on the table and says two sentences. For example, “I am a pilot. I fly planes.”
- The first person to get rid of all of their cards first is the winner .
【ゲームの進め方】
- 3～5人のグループを作る。
- 各プレーヤーに5枚ずつ配る。残っているカードは裏向きにテーブル・机の真ん中に置く。これが山札、英語で「draw pile」と言う。
- ジャンケンで最初のプレーヤーを決める。
- 最初のプレーヤーが自分のカードを見て、一枚を選ぶ。グループの誰かをランダムに指名し、「Do you have____？」もしくは「Are you a/an______?」
と自分のカードとマッチする質問をする。
例えば、「Do you fly planes?」や「Are you a pilot?」と聞くプレーヤーは、必ず「pilot」のカードを手元にあること。 - その指名された相手がマッチするカードを持っていた場合、そのカードを求めたプレーヤーに渡さなければならない。
- しかし、指名された相手がマッチするカードがなかった場合指名された相手がは「No I don’t.”」or 「No, I’m not.」と答え、「Get a job!」と言って
最初のプレーヤーにテーブルの真ん中に置かれた山札から一枚引かせる。 - 同じカードを2枚集めたら、その集めた「ペアカード」をテーブルに置きながら「I am a pilot. I fly planes.」と言います。
- 一番先に手元のカードが無くなったプレーヤーが勝ち。
